RUSTGLASS

How RustGlass works

Rust has an official companion system called Rust+, made by Facepunch. Server owners choose to enable it, and players pair with a server using their own Steam account. It is the same pairing used by the official Rust+ mobile app. RustGlass connects through that same official API and nothing else.

What it sees

Exactly what Rust+ offers your paired account: the server map, vending machines, your team, and the CCTV cameras you set up in the game yourself.

What it never touches

The game client, game files, and anti-cheat. RustGlass runs in your browser, not inside the game. There is nothing to inject, patch, or overlay.

What that means

No mods, no cheats, no unfair data. RustGlass is the official companion feed with better tools on top. There is nothing here that Facepunch's own app does not already have access to.

Pairing in three steps

  1. Sign in with Steam on Facepunch's official Rust+ page. RustGlass never sees your password.
  2. Press "Pair" in the game on a server that has Rust+ enabled.
  3. The server appears in RustGlass, with the same access the Rust+ mobile app would have.
